Carter and I were still back in Wyoming for most of October. We occupied our time with several trips up to Casper to visit Allyson, Jackson and Trey. We went and visited Uncle Brandon in Colorado and were able to watch one of his exhibition games and also got to chase bunnies in Grandpa and Grandma Walsh's yard just about every time we went out there to visit them.

We made one trip down to Scottsbluff, NE to visit Grandaddy and Grandma Janice. They took us to the zoo and we had a ball. Carter was able to feed the ducks and geese but didn't want anything to do with the donkeys or llamas. We saw lots of neat animals and were introduced to the "reindeer swing" in Granddaddy's back yard. Carter loved to visit G's classroom and play with all the kids. He'd sit and listen to stories as if he were one of them. We even helped them rake leaves before we left and bag them up in pumpkin bags. To this day, he still talks about going and seeing the kids at school.

I had a break from school so I was able to get some sewing in and was able to relax and enjoy a small vacation. Carter and I bought tickets to fly back to Atlanta at the end of this month to visit Ty. It was amazing being able to see

him and Carter wouldn't let him go for the longest time. He kept looking at him and then hugging his neck, over and over. Ty drove us back home to Mississippi and we had a great 3 day weekend together again as a family. We were able to carve our pumpkin and hang out together as a family. The most exciting part of the weekend was that we found out we'd be having a
BABY GIRL in March!

Ty had to return to Valdosta, GA to finish up his IFF training, but the end was in sight. He only had 3 weeks left and I knew that I needed to get the house ready for the big move at the end of November. Carter was a bit confused when he couldn't see his cousins whenever he wanted and that fact that it was just him and I, all day and night. We made it through the first week though. Daddy called us that following Sunday and just missed us too much. It didn't take much to talk me into it; I threw clothes in a bag and we were out the door and on the road in 30 minutes. We stayed with him for a week then traveled back to MS. Carter and I came back and finished up the last bit of paper work for our move, cleaned up the house and our Daddy finally came home 2 days before Thanksgiving. We were VERY thankful this year just to be back together as a family. We spent Thanksgiving Day with our close friends, Craig and Lindsey Baker, had a wonderful meal and just enjoyed the moment! The movers came on the 30th and packed up our stuff and we were headed to North Carolina with a short one week detour in Pensacola, Florida for (YOU GUESSED IT!) more training!
