Carter became very interested in games and puzzles this month. We started the month with about 3 in our closet, and ended with over 12 because I thought I was going to lose my mind playing the same ones over and over! It's pretty fun to watch his little mind work when it comes to putting pieces together in a puzzle. You can tell he really tries hard to get it right the first time and doesn't want to make any mistakes. He has also become interested in the clock and how it works. We ended up finding a puzzle game to help us learn the different times of the day. Its now fairly common for him to
randomly announce the time to us throughout the day and insist that Little Einsteins is on the TV at that very moment too! He's go-go-go from the minute he wakes up. That 3 hour nap is still necessary for both him and I!!
I finished up school at the end of this month and will look forward to having all of February and half of March off as a break. I have one semester left to complete before earning my Masters in Nutrition. I had a couple of really fun classes this semester (Developmental Nutrition and Nutrition Assessment) so next semester won't be as enjoyable but I'll know that they'll be the last ones! YEAH! During my break I hope to get the house in order for our little girl's arrival.
