During deployments, us wives try and keep ourselves as busy as possible. Outside of some women's own careers, running a household and children… we incorporate anything from weekly dinners, to weekend getaways, to special classes such as this. Gina Radovcich (whose husband just so happened to be one of Ty’s instructors in North Carolina and has since retired to Boise) offered to take a small group of ladies out to the Ste. Chapelle Winery that sits outside of Boise. We sat through Part I of our small photography lesson focusing on “taking our cameras off AUTO.” She was an incredible teacher and had a way of presenting the information in such an understandable way! After our lesson, we took the tour of the winery and were given the chance to experiment with our new knowledge.
Here are just a few of the pictures I took. I’m not ashamed to admit how terrible I am but strangely enough, I continue to reach for my camera and try more and more things out with it. There aren’t many things in life that I enjoy being terrible at and still have the drive to get better. I wish this was the same for my golf game.
