Missing our friends...

This past week, the kids and I said goodbye to our best friends, The Andersons. We know that it's only a temporary goodbye and more of a "see you soon" but it still didn't make the days leading up to them leaving any easier.

We met Derek and Andrea in North Carolina, December of 2006. Over the past three and a half years, we've shared and supported each other through the highs and lows of this crazy thing we call "military life." We've added Whitleigh, they've added Brady. We've held each other through our first deployments, health issues and parenting pitfalls. We've sat and watching our kids' friendship grow into a sibling-like bond. Holiday meals, mini-vacations, endless phonecalls (!!!), bbq's... we couldn't have asked for better friends. We are going to miss them all so much! We are already looking forward to seeing them soon and meeting the newest member, Baby Girl Anderson (coming soon... June 2010!)

Until then, Ty and Derek... you may need to brace yourselves when it comes to the cellphone bills. Lord knows the lines are going to be HOT from here to there!
