Makin' Milkshakes
The kids and I, along with Andrea and Brady, hit up the local Farmer's market a few weeks ago and struck gold with a berry stand. We bought two flats full, one overflowing with the best raspberries we have ever tasted and the other full of blackberries that literally melted in your mouth. We ended up freezing most of them because we wanted Ty to be able to enjoy them once he got home from Nevada. When he did get home, he was a little concerned that the freezer had more berries in it than meat, but after he sampled one hand full of raspberries, he completely understood my reasoning! We have enjoyed them on pancakes, in smoothies, and especially as an ice cream topping. The other night, Ty and Chef Carter fixed us girls some milkshakes that were amazing!
