Yup! He did it again. Santa traded his lil' red sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer for a beautiful McDonnell-Douglas F15E Mighty Strike Eagle, fully equipped with two Pratt & Whitney F100-PW 229 turbine engines (kicking out around 30,000 lbs of thrust a piece). Carter wondered why there were no bombs on the jet...Ty wanted to tell him it was because Santa had just delivered those "presents" to the Taliban, but thankfully decided against saying that. With absolutely no recollection of the past 2 years, both kids nearly wet themselves as they watched Jolly ol' Saint Nick climb out of the back seat and walk down towards them. Some would say, PRICELESS!
As for the rest of the party, the base went all out this year! The kids had an absolute ball and won several prizes. Santa made his rounds and surprisingly enough, both of our kids talked with him. Carter told him that he wanted the Nerf Vulcan EBF 25 and Whitleigh told him "a white titten.... a wheeeeel white titten!" Santa and Mrs. Clause are still trying to work out an agreement on that one. ;-)
