Cruisin' Carter

After a long summer of trying, Carter finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels. In the beginning of spring, we moved him into his new bike and the both of us tried our hand at trying to teach him. I was finally fired as the official bike riding coach by Carter about mid August, he told me that I wasn't as strong, fast or 'good' as Ty. You would think this would hurt my feelings. Quite the contrary, I was very glad to pass this cup on to good ol' Daddy! Ty's summer schedule is very hit or miss. We both knew it was going to take about 2 full days, lots of patience, endurance, and ummmm... more patience. Ty scheduled a week of leave after being gone for the very looonnnnggg month of August and sure enough, 2 days later, Carter was cruisin' around the block!
