July 4th- No fireworks, Just Vomit

So, like I said at the end of June, we finished off last month preparing and getting very excited for the upcoming arrival of my brother, Brandon and his fiance, Julie. They were set to fly out on the 3rd for the Fourth of July weekend and we had a full weekend of fun planned. Unfortunately, Carter caught some random flu bug on Thursday evening and was in such terrible shape, we had to call Uncle Blan-Blin and Aunt Lou-Lou and tell them that they were risking their lives in coming. Thankfully, Southwest Airlines gave them credit to use in the future, but it still didn't stop the puke train from roaring in this household. Carter felt better on the morning of the 4th, so we ventured out to the market. By mid afternoon, both kids felt great and were getting so excited to watch the fireworks that started at 10:30pm. About 7pm, Whitleigh came in to me and said she had a tummy ache. I immediately wrapped myself in towels, assumed the position and sure enough, had round two all over the front of me in no time. The bug ran it's course with her fairly quick but Ty and I's fate was still undetermined. It's such a miserable feeling just waiting for something so terrible to just come and take over you. I was too busy with my house sterilization efforts to worry to much about it though. We went 2 whole days with everyone healthy and then late Tuesday afternoon Ty came home and said he didn't feel well. He got sick once and then slept for a solid 18 hours. He woke up a new man! Completely revived and refreshed and it was then that I was actually hoping that I would get it! What I would have done for 18 hours of blissful sleep! Anyhow, the fourth was no fun this year; therefore, not too many pictures.
