Whitleigh's First Haircut!

It was time! Whitleigh's hair has been a struggle it seems like since birth. First, it stuck up all over the place, no matter how much love I put into it. Next, it all fell out except for a large patch on the top (her little toupee). Month by month, it slowly started to fill in. We have been waiting for her front part to get to chin length so that we could use that as a baseline to give her the classic little girl bob- today was the day!
She sat so well for Miss Chelsea and got about an inch and a half cut off the back. It was so hard to see her little curls go! Then she got her front shaped up to match the back and before I knew it, she had transformed into a little girl. All of the ladies in the salon just showered her with compliments and you could tell she felt like she was the Queen of her own little world! She sat so high and proud on her little perch that was hoisted up in the air! The cut made her look so mature. Then again, maybe it was just the way she pranced out of the salon, still walking on cloud nine!
