Earlier this summer, my brother and his fiance, Julie, bought tickets to come out for a visit here to Idaho. They had originally planned to come over the Fourth of July weekend but after both kids came down with the flu, they had no other choice than to reschedule and Labor Day weekend was the next three day weekend. We hadn't had visitors since March so, it was so much fun getting prepared for them and both kids talked about it for weeks leading up to the day.
Even though the weekend passed way too fast, we managed to squeeze in lots of talking, watching, running, throwing, hitting, eating, and of course laughing! It was so much fun getting to hang out with them and watch the kids perform. Carter kept them busy with baseball knowledge and Whitleigh finally got to have her tea party with Aunt Julie! Before we took them back to the airport on Sunday, we all went to a local apple orchard. Such fun! There were 13 different kinds of apples, all pesticide free, and they wanted $.35/lb! We also scored some fresh peppers and tomatoes. They were all so fabulous and it was a great end to our weekend. Thank you again for coming Uncle Blan-Blin and Aunt Julie, please come again soon!
