The weather was so wonderful here this weekend, we definitely took advantage of it. While I blazed a trail through the garage that's full of boxes (due to the move) the kids ran and ran outside in our new backyard. Carter worked diligently on his soccer moves, scoring goal after goal against his pretend opponents. Miss Whitleigh watched from the sidelines, cheered for him every once in awhile and kept herself busy by going up and down the slide! All of this went on for hours! With only a few meltdowns and a few restroom breaks, I considered it a fairly successful afternoon. Afterall, I did get ONE car in the garage by the end of the day! Here are some snapshots of both of them in all of their goofiness! 
We are starting our 8th week without Ty/Daddy. Life still feels like a huge roller coaster with the ultimate highs, lows, twists, turns and, of course, full of the unexpected. We are slowly getting settled into our new place (a move is definitely NOT recommended while your husband is gone!) and things are starting to get back to a normal routine. The kids are very excited for Halloween! I'm ready for it to come too... 1 major holiday down, 4 more to go!
